Happy Independence Day!
No matter what some malcontents might say, we enjoy a lot of freedoms in this country. It’s fitting that we take the time to remember that.
On this 4th of July, I want to talk about one of those freedoms that, in my opinion, too many dentists don’t experience.
You might know that my dad is a very successful dentist, and that I practically grew up in his practice. As a result, I have a soft spot for dentists. And, I understand the business of dentistry better than most, I think.
I want the vast majority of dentists to have what my dad enjoys now – a passion for dentistry and the freedom to handle the cases he loves doing. Dad gets up in the morning fired with enthusiasm for dentistry. He loves going to work, being at work, and takes pride in providing excellent dental care. And when he comes home at the end of the day, he has the satisfaction of knowing that what he’s done has made a difference.
Basically, dad enjoys doing well while also doing good.
That’s how dentistry should be, but for way too many dentists, it’s not. I know thousands of dentists. I hear how they’re working too hard, for too long, for too little. I hear them talk about feeling trapped. I hear them discussing that they’re not living up to their potential professionally or financially. I listen to stories about those dentists facing an endless string of drill-and-fills, crown replacements, and routine exams.
And I don’t hear how about they’re enjoying themselves, meeting their professional and financial goals, and have the time away from the practice to pursue other interests.
Dentistry is consistently ranked as one of the best professions in the United States. Listening to these doctors, you’d never know it.
I’m working to change that. I want as many dentists as possible to feel like my dad does about the profession of dentistry.
Look, it’s a holiday, and I’m sure you’d rather spend it with family and friends, so I’ll get to the point. If you’re serious about your success, and you’d like to rediscover your passion for dentistry while being successful, here’s what you should do.
Go to www.PatientAttractionBlueprint.com and schedule a Blueprint call. We reserve these calls for serious dentists who want to see a Patient Attraction System™ that can double or even triple their practices. SmartBox dentists get more patients, more profits, and more freedom.
And did I mention that dad’s a SmartBox dentist? Our Patient Attraction System™ brings in the quality new patients that make his day in the office a pleasure.
On this Independence Day, I wish all dentists the freedom to do what they love and get paid well for doing it. I’m working toward making that a reality.
